THERE’S NOW A [ETA: now defunct] PETITION ON CHANGE.ORG! Please go sign it!

This post is to serve as a collection point for claims and/or evidence alleging that the staff of Canterlot Gardens (ETA: who are now mocking me with flowers for writing things like this) spread— at said convention, no less— libel/slander making fraudulent and impossible claims about me.

Specifically, thus far, CG staffers are alleged to have spread rumours of the following:

1) That I was arrested, in Ohio, on the convention weekend (I was locked in my apartment’s back room in Brooklyn all weekend, and I have never been arrested in my life). The last time I was in Ohio was months ago for TrotCon.

2) That I was found to have a knife on my person (I don’t own any knives except kitchen utensils, box cutters and other utility knives.).

3) That I am a meth user, or in some iterations even a meth dealer (I have never done meth, nor have I done ANY other illegal drug, nor have I taken legal drugs to excess, and in fact I have never even partaken of tobacco or nicotine— much less marijuana, and FAR less meth!

Sometimes, the claims are softer and merely say that the alleged person allegedly arrested was “most likely” me, but usually the message that is spread was that it WAS me. Claims have been made of a mysterious doppelgänger who people thought was probably me; however, I do not believe that anyone was arrested at all on that weekend, even a doppelgänger.

The knife claim may relate to the fact that I am angry at Kyle “Yelling At Cats” Escue, so people made up a rumour that I was going to kill him (which I wasn’t, couldn’t, and wouldn’t) with a (non-existent) knife.

As per usual, all evidence will be as thorough as possible, including screenshots (in case the original posts are edited or taken down), URLs and names wherever possible.

The Chair, and several witnesses, say that Purple Tinker walked into CG, was found to have a knife on her person, and was removed from the area; potentially arrested.

Another quote from same (emphasis mine):

Several security staff members have been useless to the situation, making claims ranging from “Attempting to assassinate YAC” to “Running a meth distribution ring and being arrested, and held in a state prison indefinitely.

Notably, this individual claims that the local police said nothing of the sort had happened!

The Local police denied the fact that any sort of illegal activity pertaining to anything like this happened.

YAC: “I got no idea man”

3RD: “Then who did you hear it from?”

that isn’t to say that CG themselves endorsed it”

So as you can see, yes I mentioned the chair, but I did not specifically point to him as the source of the rumors. In fact, if I remember correctly, I said that the original source of the rumors were CG Security Staff (particularly ones who were drunk/tired at the time of mentioning it). If this was not made clear, I once again apologize.

This addendum is to collect evidence of these claims, or similar claims,being repeated by others. This is to serve as proof that even those who may not be aware that CG staff allegedly helped spread these claims, still helped spread said claims themselves.
